0% interest on balance transfers
- Get 12months interest-free on balance transfers from account opening, with no balance transfer fee for the first 12months.
- You can transfer balances from £100 up to 95% of your credit limit.
- You can’t transfer balances from other Santander or cahoot credit cards or from any type of loan or current account.
- At the end of the 0% period, a 3% balance transfer fee will apply to any new balance transfers. Interest will be charged on any outstanding balances and new balance transfers at the standard rate of 23.9% p.a. (variable).
When you apply, we’ll carry out a credit check. This will help us to decide the credit limit we can offer. We’ll tell you your credit limit once your application has been accepted.

You can request a balance transfer during your application. If you do, we’ll make a payment to your current credit card company when you activate your card. Just make sure you activate it within 45 days of receiving it for this to happen. You don’t need to do anything else.

Need to report a lost, stolen or damaged card?
The easiest way for you to report your card as lost, stolen or damaged is through our mobile banking app. Simply log on to the app, click ‘More’, then ‘Manage my cards’ and select the card you want to report. Click ‘Report as lost, stolen or damaged’.
Alternatively, if you think you’ve misplaced your card, you can freeze and unfreeze it in the mobile app instead of cancelling it right away.

You can also report your card as lost, stolen or damaged by speaking to our digital assistant Sandi, available 24/7. Just log on to your mobile banking app, choose ‘More’, ‘Help and contact’, then ‘Need help? Chat with Sandi 24/7’. You can also ask Sandi in Online Banking
