How do I talk to a live person at UPS? ›

Call our local UPS Customer Center at (888) 742-5877 to speak with one of our attentive, motivated and knowledgeable team members, who can answer any of your questions about domestic or international packages shipped via UPS.

Check exterior doors or other places your package could've been placed, like the porch, back patio or garage. Also check with anyone who may have picked up your package, like a neighbor. If you still can't find it, contact the seller to start a claim.

Customers can head over and pick up their deliveries whenever it's convenient for them. Our dedicated team will even alert you when your package is ready for pickup - all you need to do is bring your ID that matches the delivery information, and you'll be good to go.

Why can't I submit my claim on UPS.com? The shipper of your package has a restriction on the account, which doesn't allow recipients or third parties to begin the claim process. Contact the shipper who requested you submit your claim for further assistance.

UPS requires the shipper to report any lost packages. Wait 24 hours AFTER the delivery window. Once the report is received, UPS will perform a package search. Package searches can take up to 10 business days.

UPS often uses the term “end of day” when updating you on delivery options. Exactly what this means varies, depending on whether the package is going to a residential or a commercial address.
